What Have I Got to Lose?

What have I got to lose? One effort and a little paint. I could wipe the panel clean and start over if I ended up with something dreadful. No one need know of my failed attempt. On your mark, get set, get ready, go!

I plunged in with a loose wash, a few grid lines and defining shapes.

It was dark and the house was quiet in the early morning hours. Two hours later the sun was coming up and I was stoked with an almost finished painting. I did lose something I hadn’t anticipated though, my track of time. It was worth the risk.
